Go Global Business Case Competition 2007 finally came 2 an end ytd evenin.. A 24hr biz case was completed aft intense of hardwork throughout e night of fri.. Most of us din slp.. Some did but only 4 a few hrs.. Wonderful ideas in mind, hardworkin period of research.. Intense agora hall.. All of us seems 2 come tgt as 1.. No blundaries, no institutions differences.. We r all participants of Go Global..
Had our breakfast in e mornin @ abt 0800hrs.. Bee Hoon n eggs.. Hahax.. Simple n ez meal.. Many of us were realli tired.. Aft workin thru e night.. While eatin, my team was still workin hard 4 e presentations.. Suhalie, seen walkin ard, preparin 4 our team's elevator pitch.. It is a 5 minute pitchin presentin our ideas 2 e penal of judges.. It is also a 5 minutes period tt will determine our entry 2 e finals..
@ 1000hrs.. Our presentation is ready.. It was also tym 4 us 2 change into formal attire 4 e elevator pitch.. E intense coldness in e hall was felt.. Some whisperin sliently 2 their teams.. Some rehearsin their pitch.. Some feelin nervous..
As e tym draws nearer to 1100hrs.. We were told 2 clear up n leave e hall.. Was led up 2 our holdin area.. Where we await our tym 2 present e pitch.. E holdin area was pretty cold.. Was shiverin despite wearin long sleeve shirt.. Called dear dear.. Coz I din manage 2 speak 2 her on fri night.. Missin her alot.. No reception was a factor.. Another was coz we r not supposed 2 communicate out..
Our pitchin period came.. Gear up.. Suhalie, our presenter was kinda nervous... But he din fail us.. He presented very well durine e pitchin.. We were asked by e penal of judges 2 questions.. We discussed as a grp n Suahlie answered.. It ended well n we went off 2 e Theatre where we hear e toks by Eileen Chew, founder 77 Street.. As well as certain big bosses, Sakae Sushi, Ebay n dunno liao.. Anyway, all of us was so tired tt we fell asleep..
Aft e tok session, release of results of our pitchin.. My grp did not get into e finals.. Was kinda disappointed.. Bernard's grp got into it.. *Congrats..* We also heard tt some cried.. I can understand y.. Coz we realli work hard throughout e night of fri.. Juz 2 do up tis presentation.. 2 display our ideas n wad we learnt 2 every1.. But sad 2 say, only 3 grps can get into e finals..
E finale of Go Global Biz Case was e finalist presentation.. Saw e presentations n was very impressed wit it.. Bernard's grp was blasted wit questions.. Coz we simply dun lyk his grp member.. Very arrogant, very mu zhong wu ren.. Actualli only 1 question 2 b asked by e audience.. But his grp got 3.. Frm e audience on top of 1 by e judge.. Oh ya.. E guy also said somethin bad.. Very rude..
Release of results.. Bernard's team came in third.. Thx 2 his grp member.. Coz of his attitude.. He brought e team down.. Aft e event, which ended @ 1900hrs.. We went 2 haf some refreshments.. Was wit ser n ber.. Aft tat, went back 2 agora hall 4, 2 collect our stuffs n left.. It was a wonderful experience..
FRIDAY
Woke up n went out of hse @ 1100hrs.. I went 2 fetch dear dear coz I din go 2 sch.. Wanna meet her 4 lunch b4 I head down 2 Republic Poly 4 e camp.. A thoughtful dear dear accompanied me down 2 causeway pt coz it would b easier 4 me 2 go RP later on.. But poor her, gotta leave alone 2 tanjong pagar 4 facial @ 1800hrs.. We went 4 lunch @ Mac.. *Dear dear bu ting hua.. Sore throat still wanna eat Mac..*
Aft eatin, we went walk walk ard Causeway Pt.. Dear dear was shoppin 4 some clothings.. We walk walk till we saw tshirts frm IP Zone.. Dear dear went 2 try out tis pink colour shirt.. Very nice.. Den she also ask me 2 try out a purple coloured shirt 4 her 2 c.. Hahax.. Indeed, it looks pretty nice on me.. Very young... Hahax.. So we decided 2 buy it.. I paid 4 e clothes.. *So long as I c ur smiles, nth else realli matters.. Realli*
Aft buyin e shirts, we were shoppin ard 4 joanna's b'dae present.. Hahax.. Din manage 2 c anythin nice.. So we headed 4 e library.. Was readin thru e case, dear dear was doin WPB.. Hmm.. Den a call frm shera, coz she reached causeway pt le.. N she wanna meet me up 2 go down tgt.. So I left dear dear unwillingly.. It was still earli 4 her.. So she decided 2 stay on in e library.. *Sorrie dear dear.. I din wanna leave u alone dere.. But..*
Anyway, was in RP @ 1700hrs.. Waited 4 my members n we registered tgt.. Began e day in camp wit toks abt e case by Eileen Chew, founder 77th Street.. Den dinner.. Aft dinner, went up 2 our classrooms 2 do e case.. It was a nice feelin 2 me.. E whole team worked on e case.. Research..
1100hrs in e night.. We moved back 2 agora hall 1.. Continued doin e work.. Chiongin thru e night.. Was very tired but din slp.. Still chiong.. Drank hot milo.. Had supper, pizza.. Hahax.. Sounds nice right? But was very tired.. Juz kept drinkin milo.. Hahax.. Yap.. N we chiong on till sat..=)
