Sorrie 4 not postin ytd.. Guess I was realli drained out le ba.. Ytd spelled a bz day 4 me ba.. Coz my dad has juz undergone an eye op.. A common prob tt many elderly had.. Cataracts.. Some of u might haf heard abt it b4.. It is a prob tt causes ones' eyes 2 c blurry, smoky vision.. As my dad is still workin n his condition was bad, he had 2 undergo e op..
Supposingly e op should last 4 at e max an hr.. But it turned out 2 last 4 abt 4hrs.. We arrived @ NUH abt 0845hrs.. Went 2 e day surgery centre 2 register.. B4 proceedin 2 e day surgery ward.. My dad got changed into e ops attire n rested b4 bein wheeled into e ops theatre.. Was indeed kinda worryin 4 all of us.. Not coz of e op.. But 4 his medical health.. He had high blood pressure n heart probs..
We waited 4 his ops 2 be done @ e day surgery ward.. @ their waitin area.. It was freezin cold.. Had 2 drink hot coffee n milo 2 warm myself.. 4 hrs in e ops theatre.. My mym started 2 worry.. So we checked wit e counter.. Finally, he was wheeled out.. E ops was successful.. E cataracts was removed on his left eye.. Right eye would haf 2 wait 4 1 month.. So which means 1 more op 4 him..
Can c his facial looks.. Thou calm n composed.. But deep down him, he would haf felt e same as I had b4 ba.. I been thru ops many tyms.. Frm kidney probs 2 hand injuries.. A total of 5 ops.. Or more?? Dunno liao.. I was fortunate. He accompanied me into e theatre as I was a child.. But 4 him, he haf 2 face it all alone.. I could rem den, I would b so terrified.. I juz wanted no pain.. Sigh.. Humans?? Sufferin?? Seems 2 link..
Anyway, continuin.. His ops finished n was awake when he was wheeled out of e theatre into e ward.. Knowin he is alright, I left 4 campus.. Not 2 study of course.. But 2 mit up wit dear dear.. Yesh.. Fri but she was still stucked in campus doin OA proj.. Poor dear dear..
Took a cab back as it was rainin n I was too tired 2 take bus.. Reached e hub.. Saw dear dear's tired look.. *Yesh.. Of course I saw e rest.. But no need 2 mention de lahz.. Oops..* Ok.. So I stayed ard till dear dear completed her proj.. Left campus.. But b4 tt went 2 Watsons' Sale again.. Heard frm Zie tt dear dear wanted a piggy bolster.. So I got it 4 her despite she sayin dun wan.. *Silly gurl.. So long as it was within my ability, I dun mind spendin a lil juz 2 make ur day.. U haf done a lot 4 me.. N tis is e tym 4 me 2 treat u well..*
Aft which sent dear dear hm.. Stayed ard till 1745hrs.. B4 rushin off 2 mit yaoqi n huifen 4 kopi session as I promised them 2 haf 1.. Hehe.. *C.. Bz Man huh?? Hahax..* Yap..
Aft all, left 4 hm.. Rested earli coz 2day had 2 acc dad 4 check up again..
Woke up earli again.. Abt 0720hrs.. Washed up n travelled 2 NUH.. Had a quick breakfast 1st b4 headin 4 dad's check up..
Dad did a quick check 4 his left eye.. Perfect vision.. Even better than him wit glasses on.. *He wore glasses b4 e op.. N now.. His left eye need not depend on glasses coz he had focal lenses in his left eye..*
Met e consultant, Dr Ganga, also my eye consultant.. *Yesh.. We had e same doctor..* He reviewed tt my dad was alright n only need 2 c him again on wed..
Left e clinic n went hm.. 2 put some stuffs down.. Head out again.. 2 temples.. Prayed till noon.. N had lunch... Finally reachin hm @ abt 1400hrs.. *Drained out again..* Slept thru e afternoon.. Till 1645hrs..
Went out again.. 2 visit my granny.. Bought dinner hm n reached hm abt 1900hrs.. *Wah.. Buay tahan..* Hmm.. Finally havin some rest @ hm.. Tml?? Mayb a haircut or smth.. Dunno yet..
