Movin on.. Wed (23/01/08), aft sch, left campus wit dear dear n yaoqi 2 Dover CC.. 4 e monthly Toastmasters Chap Meetin.. We were invited by our formal attachment employer, Ann.. She is also e President 4 Dover Toastmasters Club..
When we reached dere @ abt 1815hrs, a very familiar face welcomed us warmly.. N e environment wasnt any unfamilair 2 me nor e galx.. E only diff is tt e whole conference rm turned formal..
I wa tasked wit e job of a timer.. Dear dear, tasked wit a job 2 collect votes @ e end of every segment n finally, yaoqi who was tasked wit e Ah Counter.. If u r wonderin wad an Ah Counter is, let me tell u.. It is a counter who counts e no. of Ah, Erm, Ok, Hmm etc.. Sounds fun?? But it is definitely a challenge if u try..
Anyway, e chap meetin officially started @ 1915hrs plus.. Ann gave her openin address followed by Language Evaluator, Tajinder Singh, who presented e Word of the Day.. "Differ" n "Defer"..
Aft e above, it was tym 2 sit back 2 enjoy some Prepared Speeches, which includes P1 - Ice Breaker, P6 - Vocal Variety n P7 - Research Your Topic.. All of which were done by Toastmasters Members..
Subsequently, we had a Time Out aft my report..
Was back 4 e next segment, Prepared Speech Evaluations.. Dey were done by e Speech Evaluators, Donald Lam, Stuart Ralls n Sarojini.. Dey will each point out e gd n bad pts tt e Prepared Speeches Speakers made.. Den was my report once again..
E last segment 4 e day was e Table Topics.. It is open 2 e floor.. Any1 can present aft pickin a topic frm e Table Topics Master, Tan Shih Hui.. Many presented included me, who was sabotaged by Ann..
My topic was "Bilingerent".. Sounds alien 2 u?? Me too.. I stunned when I saw it.. N e Language Evaluator explained tt it is bein Warrior-Like.. So I presented n managed 2 pass it..

We had e Presentations of Ribbons & Closin Address by Ann.. I was awarded e Best Table Topics Ribbon aft votings frm e floor.. Hehe...

Went shoppin wit dear dear @ bugis aft her LCCI..
Intended 2 buy some clothings, but aft shoppin, she din found any.. Coz she din lyk e rest.. But it was still alright coz we had done window shoppin n also had a gd lunch @ Seafood Harvest.. =)
