Ok.. 2day's post will b touchin on my past medical history.. Tis is 4 those of my friends in SP who has been so interested 2 find out.. It is also 2 those of u who might not understand e full story..
It all started off in e 1994, when I was a young boy aged 5..
Initially was juz a norm diahorea n vommittin case.. My dad had brought me 2 visit his coy doctor.. *I shall not mention e doctor's name nor location of his clinic..* I was prescribed some medication n was sent hm..
@ night, aft consumin e medication, I was tucked into bed by my parents.. N soon, every1 in e family too had went 2 bed.. Suddenly, I woke up in e middle of e night.. Pantin desperately 4 air.. It woke my brother, who was slpin on top, up.. He immediately woke my dad up.. N dey called 4 an ambulance..
I couldnt rem e details much le.. But 1 thin was very clearly rem in my mind.. When e paramedics put an oxygen mask on me, it din smell gd.. Yeap.. N e night was spent in e hospital strugglin..
E next morn, e doc came in.. Did a thorough check on me n diagnosed my condition as Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) - Kidney Failure.. E cause was an overdose of medication..
An immediate kidney dialysis was performed on me n tis lasted for 10 days? Cant really rem le.. If u asked me if dere was any pain, my answer was I dunno.. I 4get le..
Aft e dialysis n a short hospital stay, I was discharged.. But soon, aft a month ltr, my condition had a relapse.. 4 e worst..
I was back in hospital.. N tis tym, another approach was taken.. Plasma or red blood cells was inserted into my body.. *E donor was my relatives as my my parents' health wasnt in tip top condition.. My bro was too young den I suppose..*
Anti body reaction occured aft plasma inserted.. I had a stroke in e back of my brain affectin my eye sight causin temp blindness.. N I had unnatural reaction such as becomin violent.. All not within my control..
Also durin tt period, many many types of medication became part of my meals too.. I rem consumin up 2 4 or 5 types of medication.. *Or even more?? Cant rem too..*
Soon, I was back 2 my recovery route.. But hospital stay was necessary.. Those periods was hard on my parents esp my dad who stayed over wit me.. N due 2 my young age, I cried often if I dun c my parents or bro..
I rem my bro would come visit me wit my mum drawin police cars 2 make me smile coz I luv police cars.. *Those were e days..*
Discharged frm hospital le.. But life wasnt too fantastic too.. Every night, my mum had 2 sponge my wounds 2 ensure no infection.. N I rem she spongin my wounds in e CNY some tym den..
Since den, I had 2 return 2 hospital very often.. N it has also soon became part of my life..
Currently, I m visitin e hospital every 6 mths 4 my kidney problem.. N every yearly, 4 my eyes..
N I m also consumin a tablet of Enalapril everyday.. *Recent visit 4 my condition was unsatisfactory 2 my doc n he increased my dosage frm 10mg to 12.5mg..*
Thou unsatisfactory, tis doesnt show tt my condition is gg downhill.. But juz tt e dosage will increase as I grow older.. N tis will continue 2 I die.. Coz it is lifetime medication 4 me..

I juz hope as u read tis, juz treat it as a story.. But dun look @ me in wit a diff look.. Juz treat me lyk norm.. Coz I dun lyk e feelin of bein treated lyk a patient.. I m ok le.. No more a sickly young boy..
