It's e last day of e week.. While many were lookin 4ward 2 tis weekday.. I pretty dread it.. Hahax.. Coz it is JETTY JUMP DAY!!
Woke up earli.. Ard 0545hrs.. In order 2 meet QH, YD, YL 2 go poly marina tgt.. *Felt sad.. Coz morn cannot go c dear dear 2 work..*
Met up e rest @ 0705hrs.. Went 2 take a bus @ Clementi Interchange.. E bus was came shortly n we board e bus.. By 0725hrs, we were alr @ e gates of poly marina..
In class, were juz practically slackin discussin abt e upcomin jetty jump.. Our lecturer came in ltr..
Pesterin him 2 released e papers.. Hahax.. N eventually we got it aft attendance marked.. I got 66%.. Hahax.. Not bad lahz.. Coz I was afraid 2 fail tis too.. Haiish.. Thank god.. I made it!!
2day no lecture, juz practicals e whole day.. Got changed n was fallin in 4 our briefin.. Was briefed on e jump n e life raft.. But b4 beginnin everythin, we had 2 experience e usage of destress signals.. E flare n e "orange" smoke.. *Hahax.. Cant rem e name of it*
Went over 2 e side of e jetty area.. We did e demo.. I triggered e flare.. N it was lyk an Olympic torch lahz.. It juz kept burnin 4 60secs.. E ash blew 2 my face lor.. Hahax.. LOl.. Yu De triggered e "orange" smoke.. It was super cool lor.. Lyk throwin granate.. Hahax.. When it touches water, it will juz go around in circles n e orange smoke will blow up into e sky.. Cool right?
Went over 2 e jetty side.. Carry e life raft 2 e jetty area n released it into e sea.. It was super heavy.. Sir still say 2 person can carry.. Zzz..
Soon, it's tym 2 b in e waters.. B4 I head down 2 e pontoon area, 2 by 2 we jumped into e sea.. E way 2 jump? Hold down ur life jacket.. Grab ur nose.. 1 leg out.. N e other out tgt... Dere I went..
1st jump into e sea was pretty scary.. Hahax.. Juz scared lor.. But in e end, managed 2 float n got help by Yu De.. *Thx..*
Formed a circle in e sea tgt wit e rest n we need 2 get on board life raft.. Got up tgt wit Yu De 1st.. N eventually helped e rest up.. Hahax.. E gurls got up successfully.. Followed by e guys.. But HELMY's leg brushed on my leg n Zzz.. Dere was cuts n it was bleedin..
But continued 2 help e rest.. But only Duwi failed 2 get rescued..
E raft was eventually on towed 4 50 metres.. N Duwi got on board aft tt.. We rowed e raft back so tt e rest of e class can get onboard e life raft.. We jumped into e sea again n did some water activities.. Such as floatin on water n formin circles n straight line over n over again..
Swim back 2 e side of e jetty again 2 get on land.. Went 2 wash my mouth coz alot of salt.. Hahax..
Back 2 e jetty.. We had 2 continue wit e jetty jump.. E height of 2.5 storey high.. We jumped into e sea once again.. Tis tym, e pressure much stronger n e impact much bigger.. I feared jumpin in initially.. But I dunno where I got e courage frm.. I juz jumped in aft much encouragement frm my frens..
When I 1st jumped, my mind went blank.. N I tink it went dark 4 a moment.. Scary moment..
Jumped in.. Waited 4 YuLin dey all 2 jump in n we juz swim back jetty side again..
"Survived e jump.. Initial worrie seems redundant.. But seriously, while worryin all tis.. Came 2 realized tt I had so many things I haven done.. N dere is so many ppl tt I cant bear 2 leave.. Of e many ppl, of coz, dear dear was 1 of them.. When mind was blank, I fear too.. B4 e jump, msged her but I din c her reply till e jump was over.. When I read, "Dear jiayou", I felt blessed tt I was back.."
