I was back @ Changi Sailing Club tis week.. Juz 2 go dere 2 do my part..
It has somewhat been a routine 2 go down volunteer my service even though I m not on duty as per schedule by NOL..
Anyway, thanks 2 Sam who drove me 2 CSC.. *I saved on my transport.. Which amounts 2 quite a bit if I cab down frm Pasir Ris*
@ CSC.. Katong Convent girls was earlier than us..
Started riggin up 5 sailboats 4 a start.. N more ltr..
Upon instructed by coach, we launched e sailboats out 1 aft another.. Brought another 2 Katong Convent girls onboard e safety boat frm e jetty..
E wind was gd.. Water was pretty much calm.. Everythin ideal 4 trg 4 e sailors.. =) Wind was blowing from Ubin area..
An hr plus of trg soon ended.. N we alighted @ e jetty.. 2 assist e rest wit e recovery of sailboats..
While recoverin e sailboats frm e sea, accident happened.. As I need 2 balance myself against e current @ e jetty, I stepped hard onto e ground.. W/o realisin tt dere was a broken glass bottle.. I stepped onto it n I felt e instant pain..
I told Aunty Amy n she stretched e hand in.. Showed me 2 glass bottle on her hand.. *OUCH!!*
I held up my leg.. Bleedin profusely.. *Not jokin.. My whole toe was blood*
Went up 2 wash my toe aft every1 advised me 2.. Tried 2 stop e blood wit tissues.. But failed.. It bleeds everytime I moved..
So I juz put a plaster n continued 2 help them wash e sailboats.. Since I cant go down sea anymore..
When everythin was done, I looked @ my toe.. Bleedin not stopped..
Went 2 wash my toe again.. Wanted 2 apply medicine but our first aid kits expired le!! =(
In e end gave up.. Plastered again n left CSC.. *Thanks Sam again..* He sent Jiajun 2 Great World n me home.. *Lucky I no need walk..*
@ hm.. Bathed.. Washed e wounds.. Clean e wounds wit Alcohol Swaps.. *OUCH!!*
Applied medicine.. N headed out wit my family 2 PS.. Walkin is a chore I tell u.. Zzz..
Anyway, now, I juz cleaned my wounds again.. Much better.. But e deep long cut on my toe is very obvious.. No bleedin le.. So yeap.. Thank god..
